A devout Christian family comes home one evening to find an middle aged homeless man wrapped up in blankets sleeping on their porch. Brock appeared to be quite harmless.

Knowing the Bible says they are to feed the hungry and clothe the naked, the Russells take Brock into their own home and quickly befriend him, only to find out he has formerly been accused of a horrifying act - although he was never proven guilty.

The Russells do not believe in allowing rumors to tell them who to befriend or who to turn away. They decide to do some detective work and find out about a decade worth of unexplained disappearances in the town Brock was originally from.

Someone or possibly some group tries to stop the investigations by stalking the family, making mysterious, creepy phone calls, placing a bomb in the a school locker, beating up the dad and leaving his lifeless body in a dumpster, kidnapping their thirteen year old son, and even murdering a woman and her son that they had befriended.
The Russell family, staying true to their faith in God, refuse to back away from their investigations as they are determined to protect their family as well as their community.
